A reliable bain marie from Maxima is the perfect device to heat food evenly, without it burning or separating. It’s ideal to help you cook food, as well as to keep it warm for longer. A bain marie is ideal for helping you keep larger amounts of food warm for larger groups. It’s also useful for company canteens and caterers.
Easy to use
The water basin can be filled manually with water and is also easy to empty after use with the handy drain tap. After turning it on using the piezo ignition, simply set the desired temperature. The temperature indicator light lets you know when the set temperature has been reached. Thanks to the fast and efficient heating, you never have to wait long. This stainless steel bain marie is suitable for four pieces of 2/3 GN containers (H15cm). These are not included, but you can easily order them on our webshop. You can also use 1/3 GN containers, but then you need to use adaptor bars.
Simple cleaning
The bain marie itself doesn’t get very dirty during normal use. To clean the appliance, turn it off and remove the GN containers. Be careful because hot water droplets can drip off the trays. The GN containers can be put in the dishwasher. Drain the water from the bain marie using the tap. The inside and outside are made from smooth stainless steel so it can simply be cleaned with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Finally, dry all the parts and put the bain marie back together.
