Description Saladette
This mini saladette is compact and convenient to place on any tabletop or counter. Under the strong, hinged glass lid is room for either 8 x 1/6 GN containers, or 4 x 1/3 GN containers, depending on your needs. It’s ideal for keeping various ingredients cooled and ready to use and makes an ideal workstation if you need to quickly and frequently prepare salads or sandwiches. There is also a stainless steel space in front that doubles as a convenient cutting board. It has a capacity of 67L and comes with 8 x 1/6 Gastronorm containers included.
Specialised cooling system
The temperature in this professional saladette can be regulated using the digital thermostat to temperatures within the range from 0 to 10ºC. In addition, this professional kitchen appliance comes with a cooling system, including a fan, that blows the air around so that the air is equally cool throughout in the refrigerator. A foamed-in evaporator is built in on three sides. The saladette also has a unique refrigeration cycle to help reduce ice buildup. The refrigerant used in this refrigerator is R600a, which is free from CFC.
Easy to clean
The interior and exterior of this robust saladette have both been made from smooth stainless steel, making it very easy to clean. Because a saladette is used intensively and the ingredients are changed frequently, good hygiene practices need to be cleaned regularly. Luckily, this is a simple task with this appliance. Before you start cleaning the saladette, make sure you have turned it off. Using a damp cloth and a bit of mild detergent, clean both the inside and outside thoroughly. Be sure you only use a little bit of water to prevent condensation and ice formation when you turn it back on. Dry the saladette properly before you switch it back on. The GN containers can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning.
