This fish refrigerator is indispensable if you sell fish or have fish on your menu! This refrigerator is specially designed for cold fish storage and, with its special cooling system, ensures that the fish does not dry out.
Special cooling system
This stainless steel fish fridge is specially designed for storing fish. The refrigerator has a static cooling system with a fan. This system cools the fish quickly and ensures that the fish does not dry out. With a static cooling system, condensation and ice formation occur more quickly. Therefore, excess water can be drained into a drip tray through a hole in the bottom. This reduces ice formation in the fridge. The temperature is adjustable between -2 to 10°C via arrow buttons and is easily read on the digital display. The walls have an insulating thickness of 6 cm, which keeps the fridge at the right temperature. So you can keep your fish nice and fresh.
Storage containers included
The fish fridge comes standard with seven plastic containers measuring 40 x 60 x 11 cm. These plastic containers are easy to clean and contribute to the hygienic storage of your fish and shellfish. You can easily remove the plastic containers from the fish fridge to quickly see what your stock is. The guide distance between the plastic containers is about 5 cm. Because there is space between the plastic containers, the cool air circulates efficiently and the temperature is evenly distributed.
Energy-efficient fish fridge
As well as an efficient cooling system, this fridge has more energy-efficient features. It’s equipped with LED lighting and door rubbers that heat up to prevent freezing. The doors have a magnetic door seal, so they close automatically. You can also lock the fish fridge with a key so it won’t be opened unnecessarily. The fridge has four wheels, the front wheels of which have a brake. This makes it easy to move the fish fridge around.
Cleaning the fish fridge
It’s important to clean your fish fridge regularly to prolong its lifespan. Ensure the fridge is unplugged and empty. Remove the seven containers and clean them with a soapy solution of hot water and a mild detergent. Also, clean the inside of the fish fridge with soapy water and a soft cloth. Don’t forget to clean the door rubbers. Once everything is clean, let the fridge dry or wipe it with a soft cloth. Then replace the containers. Clean the outside of the fridge with a soft, damp cloth. Also, remember to empty the drip tray regularly due to condensation. Then you can switch the fish fridge back on and fill it with a new supply of fish.
